Requirement

Link Property Services assisted Neolith with their lease in 2021 in NSW. Their relationship enabled them to refer in Facey Property once they were made aware of Neolith’s Melbourne requirement. The brief was to locate a modern premises of approx. 1500m² with high warehouse clearance. Of particular focus was the requirement for a minimum 5 Tonne crane that would allow Neolith to transport large stone benchtops within the facility. Preferred locations included Moorabbin, Heatherton, Clayton & Braeside in Melbourne’s Southeast.

Outcome

Facey Property were able to identify a site in Braeside that was under construction and nearing completion. Importantly it had a provision for a 5 Tonne crane. Despite Melbourne experiencing Covid lockdowns in September 2021 which prevented Neolith from physically inspecting, Facey were able to attend the site and walk them through the property via a video link call to provide the confidence needed to pursue the property. Negotiations moved forward and quotes were obtained to factor in the 5T crane installation. Further benefit to the premises not being completed was that Neolith have had the opportunity to install their high quality stone products to showroom and office spaces. Neolith have committed to a 5 x 5 x 5 year term and following their extensive fit out have finally officially opened on 1/12/22. The place looks fantastic and is a credit to all stakeholders.
